Telling stories through cinematic and captivating visuals – it’s why we call ourselves Cinemakers in the first place! We strive to bring your ‘Out of The World’ visual ideas to life.
Established in 2018 by a pair of young, experienced, and artistic individuals, we strive to produce divergent ideas for you and your audiences’ viewing pleasure. This is done through understanding our clients’ needs, working closely with our client and crew, ensuring good production quality, and creating cinematic wonders.
DANA LOW
The co-founder and Producer of Cinemakers Studios started behind the scenes as an Event Organizer who then made her way in front of the camera after her stint at Miss Universe Malaysia. She started her hosting career at Astro hosting MYEG Daily and has since been featured in multiple commercials, hosts shows, and emcees events for notable brands like BVLGARI, Hyundai and Airasia. She also manoeuvres through Social Media as a Content Creator as she helps brands and clients with content creation. Combining her talents for organising and talent work, Dana has the edge of understanding what is required in front and behind the camera to create a compelling piece.
JEREMY LAI
The Founder and Resident Director of Cinemakers Studios found his love for capturing moments when he was gifted his first camera at age 15. Photos gradually turned into moving pictures which led him to study film at California State University, Long Beach in the US where he learnt the tricks of the trade. Since returning to Malaysia, Jeremy has now worked with multiple notable brands and agencies to direct compelling commercials for the local and global market while also pursuing acting as a means to better his directing skills. He has even been awarded the ‘Award of Excellence’ for his short film ‘Paper Hearts’ at the Canadian International Film Festival.
